The Story
Zoeke was registered in 2018, but the studio didn’t really start taking on client work until 2020 – the same year most businesses were forced to figure out their online presence overnight, ready or not. That timing shaped how I still work today: practical, unglamorous problem-solving over trend-chasing, because that’s what businesses actually needed when Zoeke got going, and it’s still what most of them need now.

How I Work
Freelance, on purpose.
Zoeke is freelance-led by design, not by default. You work directly with me, no account managers, no hand-off to whoever’s free that week. Every project runs through a guided process, with a client portal and structured questionnaires, so you’re never left guessing what’s happening or why. Every website ships with a written instruction manual, so you’re never locked out of your own site once it’s live.

What I Do
Website design first, then brand and graphic design.
Website design and development is where most of my time goes, it’s the highest-value place for most businesses to start. Brand identity and graphic design, including packaging, run alongside it, for when your website is only part of what needs attention. I also take on video and 3D design work, and ongoing website maintenance for businesses who’d rather not manage updates themselves.

South African, and built for South African businesses.
Zoeke is based in Gauteng, working with businesses across Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg, Johannesburg and Pretoria and further afield when it’s a good fit. That local grounding shows up in practical ways: POPIA compliance handled properly, WhatsApp support because that’s how clients actually want to reach me, and websites built to hold up on real local networks, not just in a fast-fibre demo environment.
