Morebo, rebuilding a financial planning site that had fallen behind.

What Morebo needed
Morebo is a multi-generational financial planning firm — the kind of business where trust and credibility matter more than almost anywhere else. Their previous website was taking over 10 seconds to load, looked outdated next to the reputation they’d built, and had no monitoring in place, so problems could go unnoticed indefinitely.
02 | The Approach
What I did
The rebuild prioritised load speed first — a slow site actively undermines trust for a financial services brand before a visitor reads a single word. The design was brought up to date while keeping Morebo’s established “legacy” positioning intact, and ongoing monitoring was set up as part of the handover, directly closing the visibility gap that let the old site’s problems go unnoticed for so long.

What changed
Load time cut from over 10 seconds down to 3 seconds. Morebo is now also on an ongoing monthly maintenance plan, so the monitoring gap that caused the original problem doesn’t reopen.
